Konkurs CYBERFOTO ma na celu promocję fotografii cyfrowej jako sztuki o szczególnym ładunku kulturotwórczym, oraz pokazanie możliwości cyfrowej kreacji obrazu fotograficznego. Jest to największy tego typu konkurs w Polsce. Corocznie napływa ponad 1000 fotografii z całego świata. Z wystawy poplenerowej wydawany jest katalog w języku polskim i angielskim.
Prace nadesłane na konkurs akcentują relacje zachodzące w sztuce obrazowania świata, która ciągle ewoluuje w kierunku wytworzenia pewnej wizji opartej na zaawansowanych technologiach rejestracji obrazu. Ambicją przesłania tego konkursu jest utrzymanie stałej więzi z nowoczesną jakością kultury wizualnej, kształtującej także naszą tożsamość narodową.
Wystawie corocznie towarzyszy seminarium poświecone relacjom pomiędzy sztuką a technologią.
Serdecznie zapraszamy do udziału w konkursie CYBERFOTO. The purpose of this contest is to promote digital photography as an art with a particular culture-producing meaning and to show the possibilities of digital creations of photographic images. It is the largest contest of its type in Poland with over 1000 photos flowing in from all over the world. A catalogue in Polish and English is issued from an open-air exhibition.
Works sent to the contest stress the relations that occur in the art of world imagery, which is being continuously evolved towards the creation of certain visions based on advanced image recording technologies. The ambition of this contest message is to maintain the bond with the modern quality of visual culture that is also forming our national identity.
Every year the exhibition is accompanied by a seminar devoted to the relations between art and technology.
